God Speed to your father Dave!

I lost my Dad when I was 21 to a motorcycle accident. I know how you feel!

See you at the track and I'll make sure to make a donation.

Sincerely

Nick

Hi, all.

Thanks for the thoughts.

My father's death was rather quick, and a bit of a shock to our family.  I had some thought that something was up, so I was able to send my wife and kids and a good friend of mine to keep my dad company until I could get there.  Never expected things to go so quickly, but I was with him when he passed on.

Anyway, I am in Omaha now.  I will be for some time as we get the trust taken care of for my sister...she has some special needs, and, really, everything needs to be squared away for her.  She's doing well.  Been living with my mom and dad, and only my dad for almost ten years after my mom's passing from cancer, so, eventually, she knew the day would come.

With all this, I'm expecting that I might not make it to the first Blackhawk, and I might be canceling my school the Monday after.  I just accepted a new job and gave my two weeks notice to my previous employer the couple of days before my dad died.

Anyway, thanks again for all your thoughts.  I'll be in touch!

Gee, sounds like you don't have enough on your plate, Dave.... :'(
Call me if I can help.  You know I've always had your back when it counted.

The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"
