I doubt that he's shippin a bike from SA to the US.

A recognition of the actual variables will give him direction though.

QuoteCan anybody out there give me some pointers
on the geometry setup for a '05 ZX6r? I have
heard from others that the rearend needs to be
shimmed as much as 15-20mm (dunlops). The triples are 2-4mm down...

I am riding the Michelin Power Race tyre though.
Thanks!

Totally agree, but the point was that if there's racing, there's tuners.  Get to working with one.  It's time/money well spent.

It's a place to start...

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the comments.  I suppose that hooking up with someone in the pits and working hard at the suspension is the best way to go.  The problem is that I have JUST started racing.  I know very little, and anyone could tell me anything at this point.  What I'm trying to do in my first season is just get out there and learn a little for myself.  That's why any advice on settings and setup is a huge help to me.  When I get to a point where I can no longer manage without someone with a little more knowledge (and when I have more money  :'( ) then I will definitely make use of someone to set the bike up properly.  So please, keep the comments coming.

Super Dave, I can post all the markings on the tire walls, would that help.  Also, I had a huge front end problem during my first race meeting.  I'll start a new post.  Guys, please add your thoughts.

Thanks
