PIRELLI MONEY

Question for you guys and girls, Has anyone else been having problems getting the money owed from pirelli? They still owe me for three weekends and will not return calls.I got payment through out last season but towards the end it stopped. I am thinking about making the switch back to dunlop because I hear they are on the ball with there tire money program... :-/

It seems that PIRELLI has contingency problems across the board. >:(

I have experienced the same here out it the west, and over the last 6 months, it HAS NOT got any better >:( >:(

Personally, I have about $800 in owed contingency and have no way to book it. Some have expired and that I will not accept.

If you go to the PIRELLI site and can get booking, only book one certificate at a time, their system gets confused :o

I have emailed, called a person named Debra and left messages, called Georgia and still have not even got ONE F'n call back regarding the difficulty with cashing in.

My PIRELLI rep out here has done his best to work with me and even they have had their share of problems.

I suggest this: we (racers / CCS) write to RRW and make public this problem 1) and then maybe make the switch to DUNLOP or BRIDGESTONE 2) ;D

I have never gave up on this, still to this day trying to straighten this out :o

I emailed Debra (again) today and she emailed me back with some positive news!!!

She is going to take care of the problem :)!

Perserverance (sp?) pays off , I'm really impressed (not really) but I'll take it nonetheless.

Debra is the ONLY one doing the contingency for the whole country.  That's right, the whole country.  She tries to keep up but every phone call, every email, and every fax takes time away from her duties.

I know that you MUST call when you haven't seen the money for a while (sometimes a long time), but I'm sure that you can believe that there are some that think they need to call on Monday after the races.

I have found that an email, followed a couple days later with a phone call works best.  Also, just a tip, she responds well to sweettalking (not pillowtalking, you freaks) and lots of verbal consideration of her extensive responsibilities.  I've had contingency take excessive time but she has always come through before I needed it.  Be kind.

Additionally, Tom had to show me how to manipulate the website.  It seems that the very first time that you try to book your certificates, you can only do one.  For example, you have 3, you book 1 all the way to completion.  Now you can book the other 2 at the same time.  From here on out, you can book as many as you want at one time.

Steve, anyone that can come in both 1st and 3rd in the same race is OK in my book.  ;D
