...and it's hard to tell when it's dark and raining.

Watch out on the Chicago Skyway.  I got pinched (again).  :'(  I came up on a white SUV kinda fast and noticed lettering.  Oops.  Oh well, it's probably not a ...
DAMMM!  65 in a 45.

They still have the blue lights though.  As a matter of fact, I recognized him from the last time a few years ago and I talked to him at the Police booth at the Chicago Auto show too.  I thought it best not to mention that though, or to use my favorite line, "Gee officer, usually I don't drive this fast when I'm drunk."

Chicago system of justice:

A. Plead guilty and pay $75 and it gets reported to insurance.
B. Pay $105, don't plead, go to school (1/2 day) and we don't tell insurance...it's our little secret, or door #3...
C. Go to court and take your chances.

It used to be so easy before Operation Graylord.  Call your friendly barrister, pay him $50, which was the amount you got reimbursed from the Amoco club and everybody's happy.  In fact, it was fun because the hookers who were picked up the night before were scheduled right before traffic court and there was a free parade coming down the aisle from the pokey.  :o

Ah the good old days.  I didn't mind getting a ticket back then....

Gee, you'd think with the new tolls they'd leave speeders alone. I guess highway robbery is ok when it's done by the law.  :o ::) ;)

Do or do not, there is no "try".

I just stickered up a white tahoe police cruiser today! I make sure I make them nice and flashy to see, especially from the back. I did 3 of the new Impalas last week. Those things sure are well equiped, I like delivering them back with all the goods installed, I feel above the law :)

Stumpy, now you know impersonating a cop is against the law. However... I have a sneaking feeling you might be partial to doughnuts. ;)

So it's all your fault!  Here I am expecting the usual ratted out crown vic and I find myself tailgating a cop in a shiny new Tahoe.  I never knew you were working for the man. :P

I've had one ticket in with WI.  A young lady (girl) in a beater truck and I once had an accident.  When the county sheriff arrived he looked at me and turned to her and said something like, "Well Janie, what happened here?"

Long story short, I ended up with a ticket for "Failure to sound horn when passing in a rural area".  That's the best he could come up with (even though her taillights were out).

I guess no one in WI gets pissed if you blow your horn at them when you pass since it's the law, right? ::)

BTW, Thay plan to have troopers every 5 miles on the Tri State tollway this weekend to cut down speeding.  Getting a bit greedy I guess. :)

Don't eat donuts, yuck, fat pills, not in the diet, soft chewy cookies though....yummie. Now those are good quality calories ;D
Oh and it's funny how know one will pass a cop car I was going 25 in a 45 just to see the traffic back up behind me. I would make a horrible cop. Oh the fun though.

Stumpy, please make those sticker kits reflective.  Reflective stickers have saved me more than twice.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

Yep, driving them squads is fun out there. But it's still amazing how much stupid crap people do right in front of a fully marked squad. Driving the unmarked and undercover stuff is much more fun.

Get some a-hole messing around next to or in front of you and watch the look on his face when you toss a Kojak light up on the dash. Unlit of course, 'cause impersonating an officer can get ya in some deep doo-doo.

Oh, by the way, I work in the central automotive facility for the City of Milwaukee and we maintain all the city police equipment so I get to drive this stuff on a regular basis.

Gordy, you are evil. Just plain, unadulterated, wonderful evil.  ;D
