CCS made the call that a rider hasn't been on the race track for a period of time, so they informed a rider that he would begin as an amateur.

That means that a rider that had fair skills will start racing with riders with fair skills.

That's in the best interest of the experts.

Certainly, CCS has the opportunity to decide to bump Eric to an expert when they wish.

I called CCS for a license...told Tiff how many races I did in am, how many races I did Ex, how long I have been off the track..,..then asked the question, "can I come back as an amateur?"
"Absolutely...if you start winning we will bump you up"

isn't your teammate and mentor the most famous Cherrypicker in all of CCS history ?

Multi-year full-season, after full-season WERA expert who joined CCS as an amateur in 01 and anniliated EVERY amateur in the midwest all year.
If I remember correctly, he completely dominated EVERY race he entered and won a bunch of championships.
It was cool to watch him go from second-wave amatuer and catch, then pass every expert except one.
Wasn't he such a sandbagger that CCS actually cried foul and he lost his amateur local Track Championship title.

i know who you're talkin about, and he wasnt a multiyear-full season expert, more like a few weekends, just like you. i didnt race that year and wasnt around the track, couldnt tell ya much about it. and like i said, i dont care what you do, just pickin at ya
