A Penske off an 02 GSXR 1000?

How much does it typically cost to have the shock "gone thru"?

Also, any idea on what weight spring I would need?  I probably weigh about  200-210 all geared up.

TIA

If I am not mistaken, the only difference is an internal spacer that makes the shock a tiny bit shorter.

Other than that, they should be the same.

You can always call and ask penske for sure though. But If I remember correctly that is what Tim at Penske told me a few years ago.

The spring is usually heavier on the 1000 too.

I weigh close to what you do. When I ran my 01 gix 600 I had a 425# spring. You are close either way to the 450# Web Crush suggested. I personally like the 425# spring and was able to get the proper sag without too much preload on the spring.

We charge $74.95 to freshen a shock. We use Penske spec fluid and recharge the shocks to Penske specifications.

A spring will be about $100 if needed. Usually on springs we charge whatever it costs us to the door.
