Sorry for the threadjack H...

Oh yes, keeping this thread on topic is very important for readability!!!!

No problem, Don.  Let it meander all over the place.  I get kinda excited when a thread goves over 10 pages.

Well, maybe not that excited ;D

I like snowboarding.  Just learned last winter.  Due to other commitments, I haven't been out this winter.

I hope you have Crashpads (TM).  They are the best part of my equipment investment.

Be safe.

QuoteI checked into the hotel last night and they put me up in Room 333.  Yikes, I hope no one plows into from behind!  This could be K3's revenge!!
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

OOGABOOGAOOGABOOGAOOGABOOGAOOGABOOGA!

Eye of newt and hair of.... Hey?  Am I still signed on?  Oops....
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

No trees (I threw myself down before I hit 'em).  But I'm so sore that I can barely type.  I can't even think of any smart a$$ things to say.

I fell down forward, backward, sideways and standing still.  Fell on my butt, face, shoulders and head. About the only thing I didn't do was fall off the chairlift.

By the end of the morning I was going okay.  Then we broke for lunch at 10,981 ft.  I could barely breathe.  After that I lost my rythm (sp?) and couldn't get it back because my legs spontaneously combusted!

Other than that, we had a great time.  ;D ;D
Not bad for the second time out.  Can't wait to see if I've got anything left for tomorrow.

Back to the water and bananas (and a couple doublestuffed Oreos).

P.S. Chris, add more ingredients.  Closest was a little 5 yr old girl flying down the mountain who nearly ran into me.  You gotta do better than that, man.  ;D

Whaaa Haaaa Haaaa Haaaaa..........

Don, don't you know we're too old for that kinda stuff?  Then again, we do it anyways.   ;)    ;D

I feel you pain (or at least I did last week).  Getting old sucks.

Have fun,

Don, I hope you'll get to read this before hitting the slopes again.

Get some Crashpads(TM)!  They're great for protecting you.  They're basically long underwear with foam pads sewn in on the hips, butt, knees, etc.  They come full length and knee length.

Also, remember your breakfalls  ;) ;D

Thanks H.  Too late though. I hit the slopes a little less today, prolly a half dozen decent falls, two memorable ones that got me good.  No whining.  We're on the intermediate runs now.  Lots faster... :o :o

It's snowing like crazy and its too late to turn back.  I already spent half of my race budget on this trip and I'm getting more religious with every run. :)

You have to watch out for those little 5 year old missles flying down the slopes, I had a little girl flank me from the right and go right across the top of my ski's about 5 or 6 years ago. Man was that a mess! I nailed her with my knees and couldn't do a thing about it. Her ski's, gloves, & hat were thrown off in a spectacular 'yard sale' on the slope. Her parents had dumped her onto a ski 'instructor' (pronounced baby sitter) for the day and this is what they end up with. I felt bad about the fact that I body slammed her, but it certainly wasn't my fault. :-/
