Is there anywhere or anyone to go to in order to find out what grid positions where for a particular race?  Is this something kept on file along with results in a way that it is accessible?
Thanks.

Yes records are kept of every race. It would be a major pain to goto the archives and search so there would have to be a pretty pressing issue to search that or you would need to do some serious buttering of Tiffiney or Linda.

Kevin told me 2 years ago that a new system is in use and all results and other info would be database backed and you can run query on it and such fancy stuff. what happened to that? would be much simpler to do points and check past grids with that?

Every time I wanted to offer such a system someone tell me "we got one coming" or "just wait"...

I am seriously thinking I am just getting ummm... whatever you want to call it.

They were in beta testing with it last season then an update was not liked by the computers used by CCS. Unsure if it was hardware/software.   They had a trial run with an updated system in early Jan and a few tweaks were in the works but generally it was operational was the word.

I would be surprised if all the old data was inputed into the system.

its 4 years too late man, I offered it but it didn't take... oh well

would have been a great system with bio for each rider, performance analysis and points stuff all built in, so is true online sign up... kind of like what AMA has but more robust...
