I have no intention of attempting to change their mind.  More or less, give them a taste of their own medicine.  Let's see how much they like it when someone "gloats" when on of their own gets hurt.  The point isn't the thread itself, it's the fact that they "gloat" when someone gets hurt.  It doesn't matter if it's in a car, on a bike, or on a skateboard.

There's a few idiots there, true.  But I see more officers making sense than stunters in those threads.

When we used to stunt... we knew we could get caught.  In fact, we got caught regularly.  If one of us got a ticket, we sent it to our lawyer, paid the fine, and went on our way.

I can still appreciate a good wheelie... and anybody who says that wheelies are dumb just can't ride one ;).  Some of the other stuff stunters do nowadays is WAY over my head - but I can imagine the thrill is just the same.

But stunting on the street is illegal and dangerous. Everyone knows it.  Stunters using the excuse "we do it because cops hate us" is bullsh*t.  I don't have a problem with stunters... to each their own.  But don't do the crime if you can't pay the time.  Simple as that.  We quit stunting because we got sick of paying the tickets - racing is cheaper (and WAY more fun.)

Chucked a gun and some dope? Is this common luggage for "stunt bikers?"

I leave that stuff home when I'm stuntin' ;)

Does this guy hate stunters or armed drug dealers?

Bad_Matt

Gotta go with the cops on this one.

No safety gear.  Stunting in a public area.  Running from the cops.  Guns and dope.  Stolen Helmet.

Were they a bit insensitive?  Yeah.   Life is tough.

After working many years with a multitude of L.E.O.s I came to the realization:  They see the worst we have to offer every day and deal with it in thier own way.

COMPLETELY off topic... but your name really rings a bell.  Were we pitted together at ROC in 2003?  You had those cool siphons, and borrowed my dad's BlackBird to take your lady friend for a ride?

If so... how the heck are ya?  Drop me an email - jim@kingpinracing.com
