I have a daytona temp guage (orange casing). The battery died and I need a replacement. Before I could even get to the store to get a replacement watch battery, I lost the original - go figure. Anyone know what type it takes or is the number marked on the case? Or does anyone know the manufacturers link on the web or a phnone number. I can't seem to find anything. TIA Bob

This is the only website I found for them:

http://www.daytona.co.jp/export/index.html

You could email them and ask. Or find someone who has the same gauge. Another option would be to bring the gauge to a place like Batteries Plus. They may be able to tell just by looking at it.

Brrrr.  It's cold out in the garage this time of the night.

I saw you hadn't received a reponse yet, so I went out there.

It's a silver-oxide #357 battery.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Thanks so much for your help! I thought I had the post set-up to send me an e-mail if anyone had replied. I was giving up hope and I was just about to give it a bump and I saw that I had replies.

Thanks Numbskullz for the information, and thank you H-man for heading out in the cold.
