She had straight A's last year, but now that she's in the high school, I was a bit worried.  I guess those worries were unfounded.  Two semesters in a row on High Honor Roll.

Congrats to Renee and a big thanks to Paul when helping her with her algebra.

She'll definetly get into any college she wants  8)

That's a hell of a GPA.    I thought we were playing the number game again.  :-/ ;D

She just needs to keep the GPA right there for 8 more years and she'll be racking in the serious $$$$$$$$

 8)

Now I'm really impressed.  Charlie asked me to help and I couldn't even remember how to factor that stuff anymore.  :-[

Paul didn't realize you had algebra back then.....    ;D

Just kidding   :)

That's why Paul helps her with that stuff NOT me.

We used an abacus.  The rich kids had slide rules.

He's worked enough overtime to buy his ice tires for the 450 so he'll be doing donuts on the ice.   ;)

Algebra completely defeated me.  It almost kept me from graduating High school.  I even took it again at the community college, but to no avail.  It's the only thing I've ever tried that just popped my brain like a circuit breaker.  It makes no sense, either.  I can add, subtract, devide and multiply in my head while driving down the road with the radio on.  I can draw blueprints, do layout work, and fabricate parts all day long.  But if you toss some simple algebra at me, I'm screwed.
I had the highest IQ of any student that had ever enrolled in my high school.  I was reading and writing beyond college level as a freshman.  But I couldn't do algebra.  That has pissed me off for my whole life.  It's like the secret shame of not being able to read.
Anyhow, tell Renee I'm very proud of her.  When she finishes her post, post, post graduate work at 29, I may allow her to date!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"
