Where can I ride my TT-R in the Chicago area? I want to use it for ice riding, but I have yet to make it out to WI for the weekends.  I need something during the week, preferrably on the West side (within 25 miles of Melrose Park), so I can leave right from work before it gets too dark.  A motocross track or someones back yard dirt track would be great.

Help!

I know there's a track in Joliet.  Probably too much of a haul for you, though.
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

There's not a whole lot of options in the Chicago area that are legal. We usually head down to the Ottawa area, but nothing you could make it to during the week while it's still light out, and I don't think they're open during the winter months.

During the summer months though, check out The Cliffs, Buffalo Range, and then there is one in Oregon IL that I can't remember the name of.

Other than that, there is bong but that can get old pretty quick, plus they are closed a lot, and Byron has an MX track but no trails.
