Tire Pressure Gauges

Looking for a good if not the best tire pressure gauge out there.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

The REALLY big one that the tire vendors use, specifically Michellin.  Don't have an idea who makes it though.  Those are supposidly the best from what I understand.  Not cheap either.  In the hundred $ range.   I have an Accu-Guage, and never had a problem with it.  Seems good enough to me.

I usually just kick the tire and see how it feels....is that bad?  J/K, get a good one as it is pretty damn important.

I got the one out of the Lockhart Phillips catalog.  it has stayed accurate for two years as compaired to the tire guy's gauge.

Find one that is sold by someone that sells circle track equipment in your local area.  Needs to be accurate, as tire pressure is a huge part of car set up, and, sometimes, they will recalibrate it each year for you.

Regardless, I like to test mine against my tire vendor with regularity.

If your supposed to have 28psi in the tire, but your guage reads incorrectly...a couple of punds off...you're gonna wear tires or wad...or just struggle.  Make sure your ruler is the same as the tire guy.

i bought mine from the snap on dealer,its digital and has a recalibration/reset button never had a problem yet had for 3rys runs on 9v battery have checked against other gauges allway right on

We got a digital tire gauge from Fleet Farm for about $9.00.  We check it against Tommy Mason's tire gauge each year and it seems to be right on.

I have a $20 Accuguage I bought from Advance Auto Parts a few years ago - every year or two I have to replace it, but it has a lifetime warranty.

If it gets just slightly dropped its done.  If I couldn't get free replacement I'd buy something different.
