Anyone know somebody headed to Daytona from the west coast that could transport a bike?  I emailed the guy that advertised on roadracingworld.com and he wants $1200 and will not have the bikes back to cali until the beginning of may after attending 2 ama rounds.  Thats a hefty price considering that it only costs $500 each way to ship a car across the country.

Hmmm... this is a total shot in the dark, but I know Al Harris travels all over the place.  He runs a trucking company or something.

Somebody here has gotta know how to get in contact with him.  He might be able to help you out (??)

Actually Al owns an asphalt company out of Chicago. He does show up out in Cali and Phoenix, but he's from the midwest.

I'd hit up every privateer from the west coast and find somebody.  I'd offer a spot in my trailer since I have one slot left, but I'm leaving from Boston. :D

Ah OK I knew he did something that involved trucks  :)

Earlier this year we were talking about doing a school at Laguna and he couldn't volunteer to drive our stuff out there quickly enough!

Eric Pinson,
You cant even get a car tranported from LA to Sanfran for $500, its one of my side businesses, second
Door to door service, And Security ill be sleeping in the Truck.
Third i was planning on loading and unloading their bikes,  And

Renting a garage in Daytona,

Reloading , and doing it again at the Best motorcycle race course in America Barber.  Then Driving swiftly back directly after Barber. So those going to Fontana and CCS had a chance, to work on their stuff.
During the month between I was going to stay at my Home in Ga.

What other Transport comp. does that much for $500 each way.
along with all of each racers stuff.. come on
1200$ equals 20 cents per mile.

i feel thats a fair price to show up and race two AMA events. Last year i pd 1000 just for Atlanta

Joe Jackson (#610) is the guy with the moving van. He has the biggest truck in the paddock, a full 18 wheel Covan moving truck. I think he lives in the Phoenix area.
