Bernie, no it has not been repaved, the usual silky as a minefield surface.....after a earthquake,  but on the bright side there is a new/operational bathroom/shower building near T5....

just got back from rrr. not repaved yet but lots of changes in the paddock!!!  more concrete/tar less dirt/grass.  the pits are looking great.  the track is going in the right direction that's for sure.  AND, i was treated like a human being not an invader from another planet trying to tear up the track!! the staff actually had smiles on their faces and sometimes even laughed with me.  hope this is a sign of things to come. we shall see........

Are they talking about repaving it? :o Should bring the lap times down and save the tires if they do. ;)
