Anyone seen the articles in RRW or Cycle World?

This bike is AWESOME! It's about time someone came up with a better front end. It seems like it would REALLY work. FINALLY being able to EASILY adjust trail independent of rake, and changing front damping, etc settings so quickly, too!

It only makes sense to dampen the lateral forces BEFORE the frame. I thought we'd see some sort of more conventional suspension turned sideways for lateral forces in the future, but this way seems like it will work. The Carbon frame looks good, and all the components seem REALLY tightly packed. Up front is a STOCK GSXR1000 rad, with one outback which supposedly isn't needed. At 190 hp, I would think it would be fairly close the AMA bikes in power, but they use HUGE radiators in comparision.

And patenting the technology along the way will help him reel in the dough, or keep someone else from stealing the idea at least.

I think some of the ideas put into play here will change the way things are done.

Super Dave, if you haven't seen this bike, pick up a copy of RRW. It's worth it. I think you will find it VERY interesting. Regressive rear damping, lots of neat setup stuff. Longer swingarm than the R1 by 1.5", and has the pivot concentric with the front sprocket.

What are everyone else's thoughts? I think this bike will have a lot more impact than the Fischer bike. The Fischer looks appealing, but technology wise isn't very innovative.

Is the Fischer bike still being developed?  Maybe they can incorporate some of Motoczysz's tech to provide a lower cost platform near production timing.  I'm thinking mainly the front suspension stuff.

The bike's cool.  Wonder if they would ever make a street or race version available commercially  ???  Those are the kinds of bikes I love.  Something different.  Too bad the costs are so high though.  I'm still waiting to see if Petrona's is going to end up selling the FP1 or if Guzzi is going to release the MGS-01 and the Corsa version.  Also that KTM sport bike.  That kind of stuff is very appealing to me.  Beats being within the norm of GSXR's and such.  Limited and advanced bike interest me the most even if I could never afford one.  I still love exploring and learning about them.   :)

Dunno about the Fischer, Sean. I'm curious myself.

I'll ask around.

Dan, the plan for them, from what it seems, has always included offering a streetbike version.  ;D

Wonder if they're looking for some help on the telemetry side of the game  ;D  I'd be willing to donate EE services if I can ride one  :D :o 8)

I thought it was an interesting piece of reading in RRW. I'd like to see how well his theories end up working in the real world. Personally, I think it's great that there is someone out there that can think outside of the box (I know it's a cliche) and has the funding to do something about it.

Neat looking.  I'd consider it just because the name sounds Polish... and us Polacks gotta stick together  ;)

Hopefully it won't become the 'Indian's' of sportbikes...

It makes me very sad that the best this country can do is the Buell.
