i am not on the list that advanced, but is that the final list?

FYI--some people that are not listed on the bump list have already bumped at the end of the 2004 season.  That would explain the people missing.

Do we still have to apply for our licenses before the end of the year to keep our comp numbers?

The cut-off is now January 23rd.

QuoteWhen you send in your letter to stay amateur, they will look at your performance index.

Wait a minute. Are you saying that your perf. index
is not considered to bump you......but it can work against
you if you want to stay amature?

QuoteI didn't win any trophies this year as an expert.  Is there such a thing as being bumped back down? ;D

If CCS went strictly by performance index, they wouldn't bump me back to Amateur, I would have to take the new racer licensing school again! ;D ;)

CCS needs a starting point to determine when they bump a rider from amateur to expert.  That starting point is 750 points.  If you petition to stay amateur, you better have a good reason, one of those reasons may be your performance index.  If you performance index is low, you have a better chance of staying amateur, if it's high, less of a chance.

Does that help?

So if you had a high performance index this would
mean you were more competitive than the points
would indicate?

Thus, you could enter only one class per weekend, win every race in a 10 race schedule, and still be 100
points shy of the criteria to be bumped?

 ???

No because then you would have won a class championship and would be bumped for that.

New class proposal!  Formula ISUCK!!!!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"
