Also, spain is like the mc race capital of the world. They have youth racing like we have little league. That means an incredible amount of privateers who know the track better than Chuck.it makes the 107% qualifing effort that much harder.

QuoteI disagree... Colin Edwards, Kenny Roberts Jr., John Kocinski, Wayne Rainey, etc etc... all raced 250GP here in the states at one time or another. Also look at Jason Disalvo....ex 250GP kid... look what he did to the formula usa guys at daytona..

At one point or another I bet they all played kick ball in Elementary Gym....  ;)

Chuck did not qualify in Friday's session.

He qualified today at 27th, 6 seconds off the leader's time.

We don't know what bike he is riding, I doubt the bike he is on is competitive against the leading regular GP riders'.

Peris qualified today in 38th, about 7 seconds off the leader.

Sorenson gridded last, finished last.

It was definately cool to see Chuck out there. I kinda laughed my butt off after Melandri, Rolfo and Alzamorra lapped him and then he turned around and there was a train of the next pack on his ass... it was probably a very humbling experience for him but I'm glad he ended up qualifying and finishing.  :)

He didn't finish last.  That's just what they posted TV.  He actually finished 21st out of 27 riders.  I think at one time he had passed one other rider.  Not sure if the six people that finished behind him all crashed out, or if he passed them on the way to 21st, they don't classify them after 21st place.

Confirmed: on the motogp.com website, it list him as finishing in front of one other rider that was on the same lap he finished on, everyone else crashed 11 or more laps earlier.
