I was just wondering if there were any new and interesting excuses for still not having Pacific points updated? :-/

I know this has been beat to death, but they do have computers right?

Come on...  Jack (from Sliderphoto) can sort through ~20 pictures each of almost every rider at an event (I assume by himself) and have them up on his site by the following Monday.

What makes it even harder in his case is he has to actually look at each picture (again another assumption) to determine who it is.

IMO, there is no excuse not to have the points and website updated by the following Wednesday.  If the track has internet access, this information should be posted almost real time.

They (CCS) need to get with the computer age.

No excuses...

You should have seen the neat points pages that he created one year for the racers.  You could sort by class, racer, etc.  It was really nice.  But, he could not get reliable points updates from CCS...

Hmmmm..... I called Tiffany on 11/30 to inquire about the posting of the Southwest and Pacific region results/points. She indicated the information would be posted "in the next day or two". So here we are, on 12/3 with no postings or updates regarding their difficulities in doing so. As a first year racer with CCS after having spent the better part of the 80's racing WERA/CRRC (now CMRA) events, I can't think of a time the sanctioning body was so unresponsive to rider/team queries regarding event information...and we weren't even computerized back then!
Not that I'll be missed, but if this is indictive of their typical treatment of the rider group I may find myself patronizing WERA for 2005.

You will be missed Al.

The only good thing about CCS is USGPRU.

Yes, I remember those pages.  They were very nice.  Much better than anything I've seen from a company that has far more resources to put towards a decent web presence.

Its pretty sad really.

I'm sure there are many more people that would switch to WERA in the midwest if they had the number of races in as close proximity as CCS does.  You could certainly count me in that number if it were the case.

I look at it like the cable company.  CCS pretty much has the midwest locked up, so guess what.....we get  $hitty service as a result and they couldn't seem to care less.
