I don't see anywhere in the rules where the clutch is mentioned at all. This includes the rules about what is supersport legal. Does this mean I can put a slipper clutch in my bike and not make it illegal for ss classes?

For CCS, if it not forbidden, then it is legal.

If SS rules do not say you have to keep the stock clutch, then you can install a slipper clutch.

And if you are looking for one we carry the STM slipper clutches...
I feel like such an ambulance chaser! Sorry about that.

I'll look for one as soon as one of the CCS officials confirms this. I suck at blipping.

You just need to practice blipping!!  ;)

digitalRoost

heck, I need to start blipping. I just don't do it at all. I use the clutch to compensate.

i thought for supersport you had to use stock clutch.  if it come with a slipper clutch it was legal.  i dunno just what i though.

Do you actually need to blip the 125?  On the CR500 it's clutchless downshifts all the way  ;D  I do need to blip a little on the 250 though...

I'd like to hear official confirmation on this too as it heavily impact my decision of what classes / bike to run next year. It would also ensure more CCS races if true.  ;D
