Saturday a few people said the area was slippery. Between races the workers went and looked and found nothing. Next time we are at BHF, walk around the track and look at the racing line. The asphalt is getting polished. That might be part of a cause for some slipping.

Stumpy, try this little trick.  Ball your hand into a fist, and look at it carefully.
Now, keeping the thumb and all the other fingers tightly clenched, extend the middle finger straight up.
See?  You ARE #1!!!! ;)
