BTW, the lap times this weekend were awfully fast. Ed Key turned a 1:14.2 on his SV. Lacy did a 14.35 as well. I was in the 16's getting my butt kicked all weekend. Last BHF weekend, 16's put you right in the middle of things, but not this time around.

I ran personal best lap times in the mid and low 16s and struggled to finish 7th in Thunderbike.

Larry's time last year was an :09.8 something...  And a :10.6 something on his 600.  He did a 1:09.8 Sunday, but he pulled off...he has broken ribs.

Racing was very good.  Struggled myself.  Not feeling well now.  Seem to have a pretty good cold.  Voice was shot Saturday morning, and it's really bad now.  Pass the NyQuil.

Blackhawk was incredible!  The official entry count was 904 and more than 275 riders!!!  Thank you everyone so much, I think this was the best race weekend I've ever had.

To Benji, PJ, Edgar, and Tire Guy:  Thank you so much for Saturday.  I've been feeling a little down about not being missed and being forgotten and you guys showed me the most fun I've had in a very long time.  Thank you for showing me that even though I'm an old married lady with a baby doesn't mean I always have to act like one.

But from a cornerstation perspective, was fun watching the racing. Was in T1 on the radio saturday. Couple white line violations and one completely BONEHEADED white line violation when someone with a white plate came out and jumped to the outside of the track 30 or so feet past the tower ::), not gonna say the number but he did it again on sunday I heard. The white line rule isnt a hard concept to understand and I cant see how people forget that SIMPLE rule.

Sunday was in 7. Some dang good passes for the lead in 7. Couple bikes went down, but nothing serious.

Hey Russ!  There are pictures, turns out our buddy Slider Photo got a few.  It was so much fun, but I didn't realize that little car could go so fast!  I'm sorry I kept hitting your arm.   :-/  All I could think was "I have a newborn daughter, I have a newborn daughter."  It was great fun, but I think I'll remain a spectator from now on.  Those of you who didn't take a turn in that thing, you missed out!

Besides, your hubby had his share too.  Turned his hair Blue and "monkied" around on a blue Sidecar at Vegas.  Did he really say .. "been there, done that .. don't want to do it again"?  ::)
