I ran the one SouthEast CCS Suzuki cup regional event in July and finished high enough to qualify for the final and get $$$. There were 14 people in the race so there was more than enough. So I waited patiently knowing that suzuki is slow. Finally, last week I called WERA asking if the invites went out. They said Suzuki mailed them and wait until next Thursday before doing anything. So I chilled. On Tuesday I tried calling Mr. Ellis at Suzuki to straighten this out. Of course I can't get him. I tried all week, like 3-4 times a day.

I said I would make my decision on going when I got the invite. So I am not. I guess in some cases you just got to be a pain and bug the crap out of people and not expect things to get done.

I called CCS and they said they sent the stuff to Suzuki in August. Now I just want my money!

question:
does ccs have anything to do with the suzuki cup in atl.?
are there expert and amatuer events??
ok thats  2 questions: ........

Super Dave

The Suzuki Cup program is only for Experts....

CCS doesn't directly have anything to do with the finals other than that riders who race in Suzuki Cup Events at CCS races can qualify for the final.  The final is held during the WERA Grand National Final.  Kind of like CCS's ROC.

I've quailfied three times.  Didn't go in 1989, crashed two weeks prior to last years race, and sold the bike this year.  Might have been invited in 1990 and 1991, but I don't remember.
