Had you read this entire post you would understand what he was saying was from previous posts in this topic. Yes someone was way out of line and sent some very offensive emails to CCS employees and guess what...poof.........you just have us to post questions to now. So unless you pick up the phone and kindly ask her help or send her a nice email you like everyone else will see them when they are posted. Tiffiney started this posting as a favor to the riders but like the old saying - one bad apple...

Actually after some of the things I hear and have heard riders say about CCS staff I am really really disappointed -  >:( shame on some of you  >:(- CCS staff works hard to promote/organize/execute successful and safe race events and I am shocked at some of the comment I hear and that have been made to me! This is suppose to be fun but there again back to the bad apple thing..........

Go Ray ~ Go Ray ~ Go Ray!!! ;D
Thank you!

CCS is not a non profit organization, nor staffed by volunteers.  We pay pretty good money to be a part of this organization, and staff is payed to run it.

AMEN! To me CCS feels like a privilege to participate versus a company we pay for.

QuoteSo what you are saying is that if the points aren't posted, you may be scored wrong.  You didn't answer any of my suggestions.  As far as your comment about the races, and going faster, etc, maybe you can tell me what the possible reason you could have, other than your worries about the accuracies?  The points posted at the races are the official ones, anyway, so check those points, and bring up the points descrepancies in a logical, accurate way, other than saying they aren't right.  If your points are not added up correctly, lay it out in an easy to understand manner, and maybe Tiffiney would be able to look into it more quickly.
As far as my rant being unhelpful, if you would have read it and understood what I was trying to tell you, you would have received a lot of help.  Why wouldn't you look at the points at the races?  Why wouldn't you keep track of the other guys that are in points contention?  Why wouldn't you understand that Tiffiney MAY have other duties, and that people like you being impatient and dumb MAYBE makes her concentrate on her other duties!  This forum is for the public to make comments, you moron!  If you have an issue with CCS personnel, send an email directly to them.  Read the her request in the very first posting, and you will see that you should be handling this in that manner, not complaining on this forum!!  JEEZ!!
Hey numbskull, I dont have a problem with CCS personal, I have a problem with people like you telling everyone to add up their own points and look for the updates at the races. Who are you my Daddy?? Im not at a race right now, duh, and maybe I cant count, its not for you to tell me how to look up my points! As far a Tiff, she is doing a great job as well as the rest of the CCS staff. She just said last week they would be updated and I was wondering the status, I even said pretty please. If I want imput from the peanut gallery, I will ask it form you personally Ray. Otherwise your coments arent welcome. :P

Chuck

They didn't have a copy of points at Barber Mr. Ray I asked.   ::)

Here in the SW and Pacific Regions, I guess we are just a little more laid back.  We had our #1 plate contender (who owned it two years straight in two regions) Brian Long, from Spears Racing Enterprises, taking digital pictures of the results at every event.  he then made his own spreadsheet ( I would just do it on paper since I am computer stupid) and kept track of his and Jason Catching's points (his main rival).  He knew that the situation of CCS software as accurately explained by Eric was not going to change this year so he adjusted his efforts to make the most of his racing program.  This is how a true champion handles adversity- he does not fire off rude emails or phone messages.  He does not make immature or snide remarks on a BBS. He takes care of business and for his sake and all the other good-natured racers (which outnumber the jerks thankfully) I hope we can get our computer system fixed. Until then- if you have tried to resolve the situation, and nothing has worked, I guess you should just give up, whine like a five year old and quit racing, it obviuously makes yo unhappy and mabye you should stop paying entry fees and get therapy (that rhymes- now if I could type).

Actually Chuck - the copies of points were there.....in registration and at anytime you could have gone upstairs to the scoring office and spoken with any of the CCS staff about how to get your points and results....

Chuck

That's funny I asked the lady at Regestration the day we got there and was told the points never made it down.  ???

If they have them to print whats the hold up on getting them posted?  Just curious...not a bash, not a condescending remark...just a question.

Bottom line is there are programs out there that can accomadate the volume of work that goes through that office, but Clear Channel wouldn't spend the money on it.

I agree that not posting points on a timley manner is a problem. Always has been from what I have seen in the past 4 years. So you have to keep track of your own points. Its not that hard to do. The staff in Texas are doing the best thay can with the resources available. Bottom line... keep track of your own points, quit bashing the ladys in the office in Texas, some of you need to apologize to Tiff and Linda for some of your stupid comments and e-mails. You know who you are, act like adult racers and quit whinning like a bunch of helpless cry babys. It serves no purpose especially when some of you are ranting on and on and making snide and outright rude remarks to each other and the staff in Ft. Worth. "STOP IT! KILL THIS TREAD!!  >:(
