Phew! Thanks, Chuck for a minute I thought I was the only one who didn't understand what the heck was going on !  Anyway, getting back to points, It seems as though CCS needs to get a little help from Clearchannel and hire enough people.  Tiffany seems to be run pretty ragged and even with her efforts the class points are over a month old.  Maybe someone could donate some software or something to help out?  Anyway, thanks for the work you do.

I think there are about 10 different software choices to choose from as I know 4 people who have devised something that is working and have offerd it to CCS.

Points are a month out of date?  The points haven't been right since Road America.  I've tried to be understanding but we're talking simple math here...

Sorry Tiffany I know you guys work really hard but we spend a lot of money chasing these club level championships and half of us don't even know where we really stand or who we need to beat to get what.

It's a JOKE >:(

Just for future reference YOU can get printouts from every race you run after they are over from the scorers. YOU can then take those and calculate the points YOURSELF. That way if there is a discrepancy YOU can tell somebody. Nobody will do a better job of keeping track of YOUR points than YOU.
p.s. For those of you that haven't been around that long CCS is a much better ran organization because of Tiffany and Eric. She does a lot with very little help. So please try not to piss her off. She doesn't get paid enough to put up with it. Plus there are a lot of us here who love them dearly. So please don't piss us off by bashing her. Welcome back Tiff. luv ya.

Hey Hustla-

I hear you...like I said I know Tiffany works VERY hard.  I know I can add my points up myself.  That does not mean that my calculations and CCS's calculations will be the same.  I just want to make sure the correct rider recieves the correct placing in the championships at the end of the year.  This is my teammates an I's first season with CCS and are concerned that they won't take care of it.

Man, I tell you posts can be taken WAY out of context, my post was not in any means a "bash" on Tiffany.  Just pure ventilation about my feelings of the way CCS has put this off.  Everyone knows CCS is understaffed.  I as everyone else appreciates everyone's efforts to keep this organization going.  Without it we'd be running CRA (the Brainerd/MAM exravaganza), or trekking out to CO. for MRA events.

I'll keep my comments to myself next time.  :-X

like I said before my last post about CCS...sorry Tiffany.  Hope you whern't offended.

How about a happy face instead of that mean grumpy face?  ;D ;D ;D

Tiffiney I am not sure what happened, what angered you so much but my overall points look correct so I assume that the class points will be correct also. thanks for your hard work, next year maybe CCS should think of a canned program to do it all for you, feed it the results and voila, automatically updating points pages ? just a thought, hope the curtain climber is a bundle of joy ;D

Okay there are not 10 programs out there to do what is needed to run a CCS event there is only one currently and it is old the writer of the program died a few years back and there has been no updates and the bugs that were there are still there. A new program is being written and has been under going testing hopefully to be implimented this next year. A glitch between the software programmer's software vesion and the computers CCS has has set the testing schedule back. The integration of schedule, points, regions, transponders, sponsor lists, licensing, performace index and gridding is a diffiucult one much less adding the behind the scenes info needed , Race density, Ex/AM, lap times, penalities, etc.

Chuck, points are wrong since RA? That is the type of post that does no good on getting anything fixed, and what Tiffiney mentioned in the first post, class/region are needed.

I have ran a couple spot checks for different classes/regions and could find nothing that did not add up based on posted results. Which brings us back to the point saying points are messed up does not help.

Most of the problem Tiffiney has had with the Message Board is uninformed bashing of her and/or her co-workers either on here or in emails that had their roots here. Don't make me come bash you; have truck, DO travel  :o

Since your going to pick my post apart here is a copy of the E-mail I have sent both Tiffany and Linda about my points situation:

Tiffany/Linda- I seem to be missing some points in 2 of the CCS Great Plains Championships.

****AM Middlewieght Superbike (-103)

Missing 4th place finish (53 pts) from Road America 4/24
Result is listed, but not figured in to Point Total

Missing 5th place finish (50 pts) from Mid-America 7/3
Results not yet listed, not figured in to Point Total

****AM Middlewieght GP (-50)

Missing 5th place finish (50 pts) from Road America 4/24
Result is listed, but not figured in to Point Total

Please confirm these points, and add them to the Points standings please.  Please call if there are any problems.

As you can see this is not exactly vague information.  I just didn't think the whole forum wanted to know everything.

If your in KC and feel like doing some bashing look me up  :o :P

I somehow went from 1755 points(MA AM), to 1528 after the most recent update.  I'm done for the year so points don't matter anymore. Just thought that was interesting.

Chuck very useful post actually I come up with you having 523 in Am MSB.
track place pts
HP 7 92
RA 18 33
RA(BH) 4 53
GW 2 60
HP 4 53
MA 5 50
MA 5 50
BH 6 48
BM 9 84

avg finish 6, 523 points

BTW MAM 7/3 is posted http://www.formulausa.com/resultDetail?id=copy_of_Result.2004-02-26.4608mmsu

oops noticed the points say they are through july 20 so minus 84 which is 439 which has 202 point disparity.

Thanks for adding them up for me Eric.  I don't want to start a trend of posting points though... I guess I'm more interested on where that puts my slow but in the mix for top 3 at the end of the year.  I'll just have to wait untill the final revision gets put up on the CCS site.
