QuoteBah!  It's not JUST the two races... it's a 3-day weekend with your new family!

Exactly!

H,

You did great!  You stayed upright, had FUN, and learned a lot.  Talking to you through the weekend, it brought back memories of my first race, and the "Oh my GOD, what am I doing!" type feeling I had.  Hang in there, it's every emotion available at one point or another, but at the end of the weekend/day/season, you reflect and remember how much FUN it really is.

And above all, the PEOPLE make it fun...

Just wait, 2 years from now, when you go through a turn with your shoulder on someone elses knee, you'll look back at your close calls this weekend and laugh.

We're all nuts...  Welcome to the club :-)

Oh yeah, thanks for the oil pan...   ;D

Hey H. Glad you had fun. Now let me tell you a little secret...

If you put your name on the back of your leathers, you will be fast. :o :) ;D

Just kidding. ;) You should really try to make it to Blackhawk for the Sept races. That's the Wegman weekend and you'll have a blast. I'm bringin' the Margarita ball...(at least if Gordy says it's ok) ;D

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Welcome to the club!   Started by motomadness, done by me at Blackhawk, unfourtunaly I decided to try and loop it completly over backwards and couldn't re-start :P    It's all fun in the end, even the worst day racing (can it be bad as long as your racing?) is better than any other day...or something like that.  Jeff is right, the people make it fun also! See ya at Blackhawk  ;)

QuoteC'mon I drove 36hrs for 3 sessions and a mock race. Yep got antsy a year and a half ago drove all the way down to Georgia straight through, got up rode got my license, then drove back Sunday evening straight through. Going through the mountains in snow storms in a Mazda Protege5 with a 4x8 folding trailer. So 7 1/2, c'mon H you gotta come up with a better excuse than that. ;)

Well, you had that miracle sap on your tires.

I hear that stuff works wonders for increasing gas mileage on the street ;)

I've been thinking about your comment a lot today.  You're so very right.  It is the comraderie that really made the time special.

You talked me into it.  I'll see you all at BHF next month.

Hey, worked for me. Alexa did a great job on mine.  I felt like Steve Martin in "The Jerk" when he saw his name in the phone book, "I am somebody!"  ;D

H-man, that was a lovely wheelie.  Thanks for the entertainment.  Glad to see you're a good sport about it.
