My wife likes that Twilight Zone ride at Disney World.  The one where your in an elevator, and in the pitch dark, and it just falls and shoots back up and down in the DARK  :o  Kinda like a Demon Drop type thing, but in the pitch dark  :o  NO THANKS  :-[

QuoteI knew your a fighter  ;D  I wish you'd come to the bar with us.  We could start some crap and tear up the whole place  ;D

Nah, I'm not one for starting anything.  And I hate bar fights (I have found that a woman bitching at the men who are about to start the fight usually has a calming effect  ;D), but I will defend myself.

A few points: while I love roller coasters, not just anyone will do.  It has to be intense and full of g's, the georgia cyclone, dueling dragons, the hulk that sort of thing.  However, I second cornercamping's motion that the new york, new york roller coaster is a real mother... and not in a good way :)

I dont like heights. I freeze on ladders. But I'm perfectly comfortable in a small plane doing loops, rolls, inverted flight, hammerheads.. Strange huh? ;D

Last I can recall... I like rollercoasters.  Don't think I've actually been ON one in maybe 20 years tho.

And at night I can hear the fireworks from Great America.

Horses are fun.  Gave myself a compression fracture midway down my spine (L-something)  falling off one in the summer of '91.  Had the wind knocked out of me when I landed... climbed back on and rode back to the barn... then drove 2 hours back to Chicago.  Worked all week, went back out the following weekend to ride... saddled up and made it clear to the end of the driveway before the shooting pains sent me back inside.  When the Doc saw the X-rays, he couldn't understand why I wasn't in any real pain.
CCS AM 815... or was that 158?

Barber.... the best coaster I've been on!  It's got everything but a loop!

I'm trying to figure out if I'm just weird or if there is more people who don't really get a thrill out of rollercoasters. I liked them when I was a kid, but now they seem quite boring. Obviously I would much rather be putting my head down into a long sweeping corner with me at the controls, but does it compare? For those who would never race a bike, do they enjoy coasters better? Is it because I can experience the track that coasters are boring? Or is there no correlation at all? Are we considered "thrill seekers?" I hate those stereotypical "Mountain Dew" bunge-jumping comparisons when people talk about our racing. - But that's a little off track.....

Y'all got some interesting results on the personality test. Now I'm wondering about this.  :-/ ;D

Funny you asked that question.  I was at Islands of Adventure two months ago and was bored on the roller coasters (including "The Hulk")...

Too slow -   The SV corners faster.

No accelleration - The 600 accellerates better.

To short - No GT race.

I realized then that the best rollercoaster was a SuperSport race.  Plus if you look into the corner on a rollercoaster, all the excitement is gone.
