Hi Sam-- Steve had a good and safe weekend... not to mention he did it in style with his brand new tour bus setup :o
You probably couldn't get a hold of him 'cause he's still on vacation in SC.  He should be back in a few!

Danny (#201) is the one that crashed out in magnificent fashion.  We even got it on tape ;D  As we watched him lowside in T9 his bike started cartwheeling in the air about 20ft up as he slid behind it.  Whew, he's perfectly OK though.  AND we got it fixed, back through tech, AND he still got wood on that damn hooptie ;D  I hate Yamahas ;)

Good call Scott, the great group of guys I was with
(Adrian, Andy and Stas) are all of the same opinion, we want to petition CCS NOT to include Roebling in the Mid Atlantic series for 2005. First off when since is Georgia in the MidAtlantic?? I know Barber isn't either, but hey if you going to make a long haul at least it i for a great track/facility. There are tracks in Pa (Beaver Run) that CCS should be looking at for the Mid Atlantic Region. Also let's get this Summit Point problem fixed for 2005, we all want back on the main course dont we??? Roebling Road the track layout/design is good, I would say mini-MototGP style, longer, tight, sweeping turns, which is a good change, but the almost non-existent runoff in turns 1 and 4 thru 7, lousy sealer everywhere so when the track get hot or wet there is only one safe line that is a joke. But hats off to you Scott, you ran good out there, while I took the conservative approach not wanting to pitch it away trying to go at a  fast pace in my first time at RRR. Besides with the lack of turnout from MidAtlantic Racers, I still walked away with good points many will have trouble getting back at Barber ;D. Look forward to seeing you on the grid at VIR, where we can mix it up.

I agree, If they're going to do roebling, why not Road Atlanta or Carolina Motorsports Park?   Those are both great facilities that have been on the CCS schedule before in the past.  I definitely had no interest going to roebling, looked boring but now, i'm convienced it would be a waste of time.

Bastard Steve, I was worried that he got hurt because i haven't heard a word from him.  Hey Scott, you doing the TPM track day at VIR on August 2nd???

RA and CMP raised there rental rates...that is why they were dropped from CCS.  I heard this a VIR from the CCS officals.

I'd rather run at little T myself....even if I run pretty good at RRR.

I don't think Tally would be good, just because of its size.  Tally is a go-cart track, and having any more than 10 people on a grid there just scares me!

Sam--  We can't make it for the VIR track day on the 2nd... heck, I'm still reeling from the costs of going down to RRR ;D

We will be showing up at Barber on Wednesday the 11th and staying through the weekend-- let's all pit together and have a great time! ;)

Barber sounds like fun!!!  unfortunately I won't be doing it.  I signed up for the Kevin Schwantz school during Sept. 6 & 7th.  And that was plenty expensive. I can't afford to do barber.  Plus I start school August 16th and won't make it home in time from Barber to get to class.  Thanks for the offer.  I'll just sit at home, be bored as ever.  you bastards suck!!!   You got to tell me how you like barber though.  And if you aren't careful, i'll run you out at turn 7 at VIR come end of september again ;)
