Gingerman repairs?

Has anybody ridden gingerman yet this year?  They claim repairs on T11...  Did they fill in the hole, or what?  There was a honkin dip at the apex which did a number on the suspension, but that was about the only thing I saw wrong with it...  Just curious...

That thing gets a bit worse every year.  I spoke to a guy who does cars there and asked him about it.  

He said there's still a dip there but couldn't tell me if it has changed much from last year.  He said they don't notice it much.

I guess when you have four wheels under you it doesn't matter as much.

Since the dip is on the inside and the weight of a car would transfer to the outside wheels, it stands to reason that they wouldn't really notice it.

Sucks for us though... :-/

hey Jeff you might want to check your computer for viruses I got a weird email from i think it was jeff@cbr600f4.com if thats you, I'd do a scan....

Actually I'm clean.  About 90% of the viruses sent my way are nailed at the mailserver, and norton's taking care of the rest.  

Most modern viruses (like in the last 3-4 years) show up from a person who is not infected.  What happens is as follows.  The virus will send out email to all persons in the infected computer's address book, but it will change the FROM person sequentially down the address book, so it's hard to track down the actual infected computer since no email is visibly sent from that computer, and will generate a BUTT-LOAD of emails.  Like such...

Tom's computer is infected.  In his email address book, he has Bob, Sally, Sam & Hank.

Tom's infected computer sends out email to Sally, Sam & Hank showing FROM: "Bob".

Then Tom's infected computer sends out email to Bob, Sam & Hank showing FROM: "Sally"

and on down the line, but it never sends out from "Tom" since that would be a dead give-away.  And since Tom never hears "Hey Tom, you're sending viruses", he thinks he's fine....

This makes a virus hard to track down since the email you're getting is not from the infected person, and the shown sender in all likelihood doesn't have you in his/her address book.

Moral of the story, if people are receiving virus emails from your email address, you're pretty safe in knowing that your PC is clean :-)
