QuoteHey Bernard, how did Becky do on Monday?
Thanks for asking Dave... She did awsome! She had a complete blast! Shoot her and e-mail at work. BECKY.REILLY@MOTOROLA.COM She was really pumped and did very very well. I am very proud of her and al the ladies that took the womens only clinic at LCR.  ;)

That's great I'm glad she enjoyed it I really wish I could've gotten Karen's bike done sooner so she could've been out there too. I know having someone else she knows out there would've helped her feel a lot more comfortable.

Steviee, 13's way to go man! See not having brakes does help you go faster. LOL

Ike, I have eyes in the back of my head man and watchmen that will keep me posted about your activities and I'll know before you even try it. Oh and trust me I won't forget that you are looking for payback because that's excatly when it's coming.

QuoteIke's bike is way cool.  Good to have the man there.

I'm fine.  Usually am.  Don't know why I am, but that's where the Super Dave thing got started in 1987.  I fall pretty good.

Depending upon who you talk to, my bike was 10 to 30 feet in the air with me following it.

I need a few Yamaha parts.  Might have some donated bodywork coming.

Not happy about the little get off, but I can't complain with my times.  If I hadn't of made the two mistakes on the first lap, I think I would have had the race covered.  I had the fastest lap...that was really, really nice.

MAN!!!!!!!!  I got your email it was just super busy today and the office fags are getting on my nerves...
Do we need to get u a cape and red draws?? :o  Your wife is going kick your butt if u do that again...
You and IKE better make it to Barber  ( I hope)
Thats my last race of the year.

Im glad u are ok and the bike sounds fixable.  take it easy and get some rest. Tell Nate to get on his Job abd get the bike fixed.

I showed up just in time for Dave's crash.  ;D

I took the lower (the only repairable piece of bodywork left) home with me so I can fix it.

I'm glad I showed up. Was nice to see most of you again. Missed teh BBQ, though.

QuoteWeekend Lesson Learned #3 - Watch out who you give setup advice to, they just might come back and beat you with it!

Now, there's a good one...

I wear my sponsors on my chest.

I teach what I do.

I make it easy.  Come and get me Jim (and you've been to school...LOL!)  1:11.47something.

Dave's mishap was unfortunate for sure. :'( However, he did have a big win earlier and he's always a good interview. Dave was also full of smiles :D when Mike (Safety Crew) handed him the "Launched" transponder from his airborn bike. Mike said he went out after dark to look for the blinking yellow light when he noticed all the fireflys in the field. But, he found the transponder anyway for Dave.

I always have a great time at Blackhawk!  This weekend wasn't my best lap times by far tho, but at least I didn't crash at all!  I'm on a streak now, 2 weekends without crashing!  YEA!  See ya all at the next Blackhawk, gotta skip Gingerman and Barber  :'(

Also thanks to everyone who let my hypera$$ bro borrow their pit bikes!   ;)

I had a great time on Saturday and completed the Learning Curves School.  Thanks to all the instructors for a good program.  I got my numbers Sunday morning and proceeded to crash in the second morning practice - resulting in blood around my brain and a night at Rockford Memorial for observation.  So I'm still waiting for my first real race.  Oh well, I guess it's all part of the sport.

There's more details on my crash here if you're interested:

Damn man!  Glad to read that you are OK.  I crashed my first race weekend too.  Put me out for the season.  Don't give up.
