Las Vegas -- schedule help??!!

Dave the fence in turn four has had the concrete barriers removed and the plan I was told by track officials was to take the fence down partly (as not to leave the old toilets exposed) but tracks say many things- don't believe it until you can blow through it without hitting anything!  As far as the north end "new pavement", I have talked to Randy about this and he has confirmed reports of what Will said (Will I did not forget about what you told me- just hopiong it might be fixed by now- no luck apparently). The old config would be great except there is no track access from the pitlane at pitout anymore!  Riders would have to travel all the way around the new south section and enter at old turn 2- I am not against that- but if you had to pit during a race you would be screwed. Stop and go penalty?  Yeah right!  However that may be an option.  THe new south section that was pretty nice, is way too dangerous to run clockwise (fence outside what would be turn 1 after a 180mph straight and turn 2 and 3, slower but the fence is closer.  I do not want to see another incident like Will Eikenberry's ( I see from his results in Cali that he is feeling healthy again!) and think that type of thing happening again is entirely possible.  I can assure you that active talks are in process now to figure this out with Kevin Elliots involvment.  Also- I am still working the Thursday registration deal for team owners.  I heard someone ask about practice for Thursday and have no word at all on that.  I wonder if there was a lot of interest and we could not make that happen, maybe a local track day operator could?  Thanks for the input- keep it coming- We are listening at CCS/SW and always do- even if it does not seem we are- This is your region- we need you and your sane suggestions to help run it properly.  I can be reached at 623-521-2461 or cstem@cox.net.  DO not try to sell me anything and I am totally satisfied with my manhood, also I know exactly where to find animal porn and barely legal teens should I feel the need to!! ;D- Thanks Cory
