I just wanted to say that crashing sucks.

I know, I know, some of you think it's cool... trendy, even.  But I don't think so.

;)

Just tore into the bike tonight... the deeper I dug, the more broken parts I found :(

So far, the list is up to:

Subframe
Triples
Front rim
Tank (came off and crushed when sub frame let loose)
Right bar
Fairing stay
Gauge cluster
Fuel pump (broke apart when the tank let loose)
Brake lines (yep broke one of the fittings)
Wiring harness
Battery cables

Bike is going out to Drucker's tomorrow to see what else is bent... hopefully my forks are ok and it's just the triples that are messed up  :(

I think I'm going to have to send myself a memo that states "no more crashing."

Sorry to hear about the crash. yes I turned my beloved TLR into a parting out bike this year at Summit  :'(   Oh by the way, Bernie.. this is for you, I believe you were looking for a fender, well I have a brand new one Hotbodies Racing, never put on the bike.. already drilled, also I was saving the plastics for you, so if you wanted them to Bondo for an extra set, there yours. bad news the clutch did not survive the crash. Give me a call at 631-398-5220  when you get a chance..  I must say after racing my 03 ZX6RR at VIR this past weekend.. Where's the torque!!!?????  Hmmm, no power under 10,000 rpm :P  Where's my twin?? Throwing that lightweight into a turn I thought I might flip it over.. after having to manhandle the beastly TL.............Not to fear I think I will be annoying the Supertwins class in Expert next season..hmmm what to buy?

What else did you have to spend your time and money on?

David I'll give you a ring.  Bummer about the clutch M/C, but I'll take the front fender.  Are you gonna be at Summit for the WERA nationals?
