How was being on the mike at VIR?  :o

And most of all: I talked to Danny this morning #201 and he told be he got speared by another racer and was blamed for casuesing the red flag and accendent. I was told that the other rider did admit it was his fault. So How can the red flag still be blamed on #201 when the other rider admitted fault?

It was pretty cool doing race control this weekend. Alan and I had a good time up there. I got to stop one race and do a little bit of control for the cornerworker net, but mostly doing CCS net being the liason between cornerworkers & CCS officials. Lots of good looking women....errr.....bikes, a bit distracting at times.  ::) Overall, quite the learning experience. I'm planning on heading down to Barber in August for the FUSA event to work control again. I'm looking forward to checking out the museum and track! You going?

Yes, Danny was hit by another racer. Yes, that other racer admitted fault to the incident. Yes, it was an unfortunate situation for both racers BUT the reason CCS called for the stoppage was because of the need for the ambulance, and the ambulance was called for #201. CCS understands and appreciates that he was not at fault, but the fact of the matter is that the amb. was called for him, therefore the resulting stoppage is for him.
