Will the cases from a 00' ZX6R swap with the new 636 cases?
Need to fix a 636, and wondering what the options are.

Thanks

I don't think so Ryan with the different engine size and basically completely different design.  What are you doing fixing a 636?  Is this a job from Jason, or are you picking up another bike?

Just doing it for a friend...
we are trying to locate cases and I'm just checking what the options are

Was it actually broken off (missing parts), or just cracked/grinded off?  You may be able to just weld it and/or fill it with more metal, and polish to finish the surface if you have access to these tools as a cheap fix.  I am assuming this is a transmission or clutch cover case.........

I'm talking about the actual motor cases.. they're broken

What the hell did your friend do to it?  Turbo charged or Nitro'ed it?  Lol.................   ;D

calvin669

not too sure actually...
but I don't think the 10lbs of boost was helping any  :)

Sunny

Sounds like he needs another motor all together, not just the case............   ;D
