Contingency

I just recieved my first contingency vouchers from the first round of the Great Plains series.  Unfortunatly it wasn't the tire money I was hoping for.  Has anyone recieved contingency for tires or other usefull items such as oil or brake pads?

What kinda tires are you running?  I'm guessing not Dunlops...

We run Bridgestones.  Why have you recieved Dunlop money?

I got Dunlop money 2 weeks after the April VIR race.

This year, I have not received any dunlop $ yet because I have not qualified for it (yet).  

However, in the last couple years, the one tire vendor who has been first in contingency payments has always been Dunlop.  Yes, it depends on CCS getting them the results, but they have a very quick turnaround...

PTSC the Bridgestone USA tire firm that does all the contingency stuff said the cut vouchers the day after recieving them.  CCS told me they take 2 weeks to process paperwork then they send it to Grand American.  Grnad American sorts it all out and sends it on the Vendors.  Grand American says they need 3weeks.  5 week turn around is not that bad for contingency...if it was really 5 weeks.  Unfortunatly we're looking closer to 10-12 weeks with no sign of it yet.

I'm still waiting for something from the 5-31 races, hopefully they get here before July 18th so that I can use them towards the tires I'm going to buy.

Nope.  I'm just keeping a spreadsheet.

We have received Vesrah, Sharkskinz and Silkolene, though.

Kind of funny I was worried about it coming in time, and boom what shows up in the mailbox today.  ;D

Actually was a little less than I thought it would be, but hey every little bit helps.
