I figured this year there would be a bunch of amateurs riding LW GP.... I definitely see more names in LW SS and LW SB, GT Lights, etc so where is everybody? especially SV's, I thought this year there would be a bunch out there

ok I do like winning races and all :) , but I'm not making any freakin Dunlop dollars when there's less than 10 folks in the race. :( I need contingency to survive doing this  :-[

heh... where's the new breed... :) I need to convince Celento, Henn and Philip to run their 125's

sucks having to buy the same tires to last the same amount of time and doing well and doing Dunlop well but getting nothing in return :( oh yeah and being broke sucks too

God knows I'm trying. The bikes ready, I'm healthy, my kid is going away for the weekend, (still leaves him thursday night and friday to do something stupid) Now if the knuckleheads at work can mind themselves, I just might get to race this year. Probably won't be a contender but it's a bike on the grid if the stars would just stay alighned.

haha balto you're message under your avatar is hilarious. Lord knows those Buells rumble like a bastid. bust up the knuckleheads at work and tell him you've got an important date with a checkered flag :)

JP if that was you on that red weedwacker, you were flying. Couldn't even tell what it was it went by so fast. I apoligize for my pathetic entry speeds hope I didn't screw you up, hadn't been to VIR since April of 02 and the blind corners take time for me to trust and learn. BUT I FINALLY GOT A DAY ON THE TRACK, and it felt good even if I was slow.
Anybody know when the next Summit or VIR is really going to happen?

jp233

yeah that was me on the red/black stinkwheel 2 smoker. that race was kind of banzai I am really not happy they shortened our race to 5 laps to make time for the Learning Curves stuff. I guess racers money isn't green enough to get 7 laps like all the rest of the races that day ::) what a steaming load of bullshit

the sept4-5 Summit event is supposedly on the Shenendoah circuit, so we'll see if that actually happens.... they need to finish the GD track  :o :-X

after that sept 25-26 at VIR, at least we know that event will happen :-/

JP,

Weren't you at the GNF last year?  So why are you still an amateur?  You should be an expert .. cherry picker.

poke poke, yea I sucked there at the GNF. could hardly finish a race let alone finish well. they let me stay, so be it. hows it going this year man? I suck.... 1-4 seconds slower than last year everywhere, and I have a new motor. crashed my first race now I hang my sack up in the trailer before I go grid up :P i really have to get my chit together. well at least this year I try to remember to put air in the tires and gas in the tank

Not going that great so far.  I won my first 3 races of the year which was cool, but it's been downhill since then.   Everything was off at my home track and I barely won Saturday's race, and then didn't do well at all on Sunday.  Then we went to VIR for the first time, which was fun, but a bit trickier than I had planned.

Overall, I think I need to revert back to the KISS method.  A good month off before July and August (races almost every weekend) get underway for the rest of the schedule.

Hopefully I'll be firing on both cylinders by the time the GNF rolls around .. :)
