VIR is there a practice day thursday ?

Yeah I have been wondering the same as all of you. Hmm, I guess GTO/GTU will have to be practice, since I have only had one trackday at VIR. You would think that there would be practice before a National??!!!!!

No kiddin' Tiller!  It would just be nice if CCS, the people we're paying KNEW A DAMN THING!  Just like this weekend at Roebling...CCS says there's no practice, yet there is one.  WHO IN THE HELL KNOWS what the schedule for any of these races is.  It's like the weather, you really don't know till the day you get there.   ::)  

And yeah, since this is an FUSA weekend, I'd THINK there would be a practice day.  I've only had 3.5 practice sessions on this track myself, so I'd really like another day to get my bike setup for the place.

Clay.. just FYI.. the race ORG isn't the one that does practices.. it's up to the track to put it on. So if there's no 'practice' (AKA Track day) the day before, don't bltch to CCS... talk to the track and see if they are or if they have a 'trackday/practice' scheduled

It's a money thing...the track makes much more money off the car guys. They are the ones who have the track on Thursday.
If you really want to get out there prior to the race I'm pretty sure Aaron from the Cornerspeed School has a track day on Monday and Tuesday that week.

Not according to VIR's schedule they don't. It shows the *south* course booked with Bertil Roos, with nothing listed as being on the north course on Thurs.

I REALLY need to know soon if they're having practice or not, I've got this boss that likes to know when I'm not going to be here.   ;)  *sigh* If only I was psychic, then I'd always know these things!
