I know I was one of the many who feared that when Speed changed hands, it would become NASCRAP TV.

I'm pleased that they have listened to our cries and perserved the Motorcycle coverage the way they have. I've got hours of racing on my DVR unit since there are not enough hours in the day to actually work, have a life, AND watch all of the programing.

This has not been the case with the G4/TechTV merger, which eliminated almost all of the high quality shows that TechTV had to offer. It really brings to light how well Speed listened to us.

Speed could have really made us upset, instead they found a compromise, and I'm sure all the emails those of  us in the racing community sent did help preserve that programming.

Do or do not, there is no "try".

I do think they've listened to some of the griping.  Seems like they're trying to give a little more info as far as tire choices, procedures, etc.  Maybe not insightful to those of us who follow closely, but good info for the casual viewer.

Now if they'd just cut down some of the huge promo graphics and show the race instead of focusing on a tool or a tree before and after commercials...

(We can never be 100% satisfied, right?   ;D )

Im sooooo sick of the Honda adds on speed too...with the damn 600rr placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in formula extreme at daytona....to the normal squid, this is a big deal, to us, who cares,...theyre the only factory in it.

then they brag how the rc211v has won "Every motogp championship since motogp started"  that was what....2 years ago??? lmao and they had ROSSI

i agree that it's good that they have kept motorcycle coverage, but it was so much better with the old format. the one when two-wheel tuesday ment you could turn on speed anytime on tuesday and see bikes. when there was hours of races on t.v. and not just hilights of them. but at least they didn't dump it all. more bikes less neckcar would make me happy.
