My daughter is 13 months old now.  I've already decided, that she can't do anything but go to a private school until she's 30  ;D   I do have a gun, and I will use it.  Let me catch some sorry sap messing with my daughter  >:(

I remember going with Paul at Gateway when that guy ran him off the track or something.  Paul went to "Talk."  I went to try and hold him back, something I really wasn't looking forward to attempting to do...  Funny as hell to watch half-a-dozen guys in the other dude's pit all find something else to look at when Paul started yelling.  We might have been outnumbered, but if anyone would have made a fist it would have been just Paul, me clinging to Paul and screaming, "Your License, Your License!!!!" and a bunch of punks running for their lives.  Fear has a definite smell...
Don't worry about Renee.  She's a good girl with a good head on her shoulders.  You raised her right, and that's the best defense.  Plus, you live in the middle of nowhere.  Plus, Paul is like a cranky Godzilla, awoken from Tokyo Bay!  Everything will be fine.
Renee and I get along well.  If you want, I'll take her aside and explain just how evil and manipulitave a horny young guy was... um, I mean, CAN BE!!! ;)

Here I thought it would be good to bring my step-daughter to the track.  You can see her working the MARRC information booth, selling tickets to the IMF drawing and flirting with the sudden abudance of 14 year old racers.

And here I thought bringing her to the track would be a GOOD thing.  LOL

It's all good tho.  MARRC is a great group of people for her to be around...Still not sure about the 14 year old racers tho..smirk...she's got one in NC and now one in California. Now all of sudden she wants to go to VIR for some reason...

  Just entering Junior High. My mistake, I thought you were further along. My advise is to take a good look at her, give her a big hug real soon. She will soon be replaced by someone that looks alot like her but knows everything about everything and instead of seeking your approval, will know you are an idiot and have no life experience. I've been told the aliens return our kids after about 10 years. Be strong.

My gf's got a 15 yo girl who's going on 21. Ms. Social...goes to football games, basketball games, goes to church. She's on her 3rd cell phone. Heck, I didn't have a phone in my room until I was 15. She's admitted to hanging out with "Mary" a couple times...who knows if she's tried beer or liquor. I can only imagine and think back to when I was 15....I was doing the same crap and look how I turned out ;D. Just have to be patient with them, talk to them, do stuff with them and hope they make decisions in life that they don't regret. If they do, hope they learn from them.
