Don't get me wrong, Renee is a good kid.  Respectful of others, she works had to get straight A's in school, and overall she's a good kid (note I said "kid").  Oh - how I long for the days when girls thought boys were yucky and boys would have NOTHING to do with girls.

Would it cruel of me to lock her in her room until she's 21?

  I just gave my 18 year old a track day to try to get his mind into something other than trying to make me a grandpa. If he was a hunting dog I'd have to put him down.

You guys are too much.  It could be alot worse.  They could be out getting high, and crap like that.  Boys chasing girls and vice versa is alot better than some of the crap teenagers are now getting into.  My neighbor caught some kid sucking on his air conditioner in the back yard one day trying to get high so....



Plus, look at it this way, the faster your a grandparent, the faster you have more help in the pits  :P

Plus you gotta remember what YOU did back when you were their age, and what you go away with.  Expect anything different from them  ::)  You gotta remember that kids now adays are doing this alot earlier than when you did.   ;D

I know exactly what you mean.  :)  As I type this. my 17 yr. old son is in the other room "watching TV" with his girlfriend.  Every 20 minutes or so I get up, stomp my feet, stretch and make a loud yawn before venturing into the TV room...sheesh! ::)

The funny thing is,  18 felt like yesterday, and let me tell ya,  you dont want to know what i had done by 18 or 15 or even 13,   13 was what 8th, 9th  grade ?  I did alot of "stuff" when i was in high school.  

I think it helped me prepair for college,  cause i had a few friends from high school, that never drank or well anything else, and couldnt handle the pressure of being free from parents in college.

A little bad goes a long way!
