I was told to run a 44 for my GSXR750, but have never run there so just going by what I was told.

Well this has been a general rule of thumb when I have been there. one less rear tooth in calm air than stock. if there is a breeze then 1/2 tooth less to stock depending on direction and how strong of wind.
This was with SS GSXR750s 96-99 models making between 117-123hp. I have not run a "new" GSXR there but based on what we run at TWS I would think it would still hold true.

Sorry 44 with a 16 tooth front, do you guys think that is good for Daytona?

#6
16/44 (2.75) vs 17/41 (2.41) no It would not work maybe 18/44 if they even make such a CS sprocket

Uh this is for very fast AM or average Expert that I refer to. 1:58-2:02 times

Just curious...what tires are you running? Different gearing for different brands of tires, so I'm told...

I run Bridgestones and run 1.22 at Summit and 1.51 at Pocono. So what would you suggest for a rear sprocket with a 16 tooth front? Thanks for the info just got my Vortex contingeny today so will be spending it appropriately.
