Hey Dan - thanks for posting your eBay userid the other day.  eBay really appreciated being able to find yet another one of your fraudulent eBay accounts; they promptly shut it down.

Time to switch to another one!

Is it true?  Can we really live in peace for a few weeks while Dan is off getting married, or becoming an astronaut or a deep sea diver or a diamond merchant or the postmaster general or whatever wild claims he is making today?  My BS meter has been pegged for so long, I'm not sure I'll be able to deal with not having to question the voracity of everything I read on here.  If there really is a God, Dan will not have a laptop with him and will not spend his honeymoon posting on here instead of consummating his marriage.  Scary to even think about.

What a thread.  We're into seven pages thanks to "he whose name we do not mention".
I was going to comment on Ebay and religion and marriage, but I'm going to pass.  I'll definitely pass. :-X

He'll probably send regular posts on consummating his marriage, including video clips shot with his latest high-tech watch.  ;D

Perhaps there is a meteor hurtling towards earth as we speak and we will all be spared from sharing.

Quote    By how long you said you have been married that puts you being married in the late 80's when the divorce rate was in the 20%

I get to reply since this has my name at the top...LOL!

I didn't think it was that low then.

I don't think my getting married has to do with everyone's statistical numbers.

Certainly, I remember when a friend of mine was talking about getting married in a few years, yet he didn't have a girl friend at the time.  I didn't have any plans on getting married.  I did though.  Meeting the right person completely changed my mind.

I didn't get married based on a work contrack or agreement...it is a commitmemt.  Life isn't so easy sometimes, but, almost all of the time, it is better because I am married to my wife.

With people getting married for seemingly the wrong reasons and the examples that others set...I would expect there to be some divorces, I guess.

I was married in 1995.

My parents were born before WWII.

I think when my parents were born probably plays a bit of a bigger role on how I look at things.  I know what my friends were able to get away with with their more "liberal" younger parents that became adults during the 60's...quite a difference.

Hey SD, what's the name of your marriage couseling center?? "The Finish Line"   ;) Seriously, do you need any assistance setting up for Saturday. I could get there around 8 if you need some help. Lemme know.

Super Dave

LOL...my marriage counciling...LOL!

Saturday?  You mean the Super Dave Tire and Suspension Clinic at http://www.corsesuperbikes.com ?

I should be good.  I'll probably go on for hours and hours.  Tires are pretty easy...suspension is where it gets complicated.

I think they have bikes there.  I'm not going to be taking anything apart on a fork or anything....I leave that up to the guys that know how to do it right...costs too much when you don't do it right yourself and your bike handles like dung...

10AM is the start, according to the Corse newsletter.  I should be there earlier.  Thanks for the offer for help!
