BERLIN - A German inventor who developed a gadget that berates men if they try to use the toilet standing up has sold more than 1.6 million devices, his business manager said Tuesday.
 
German women fed up with a man with a poor aim can turn to the ghost-shaped gadget, which lurks under the toilet rim and, if the seat is lifted, declares in a stern female tone:

"Hello, what are you up to, then? Put the seat back down right away, you are definitely not to pee standing up ... you will make a right mess...."

Alex Benkhardt, 46, invented the "WC Ghost" and its creators are in negotiations to market it in Britain, Canada and Italy.

I got news for ya,
Being the medical professional that I am.... LOL....
it just sounds funny coming from me! Anyway, I have
unfortunately visited many a bathroom after patients
have used them, and more times than not, females
leave more of a mess on the seat then do males.
Now why is that? Better aim? And don't give me that
" yeah, but they are sick" B.S. either.
It's funny, I was doing an exam on a patient in the ICU one day and even though she was rather ill, she
pleaded with me to leave the room until she had properly applied her lipstick.
But with the men, they will walk around with their butts hanging out. No shame.
What does all of this have to do with peeing on the seat? Nothing, I just thought it was an interesting observation.
