Does anyone have a Schedule of Events for the weekend of 5/29-30 at Firebird? I'm trying to plan, but the website doesn't have the schedule.

Thanks,
patrick

The schedule will require LOTS of sweating, whatever it is... ;D

Yea.

Show up, drinks lots of water, go right a bunch of times and a couple of lefts and then see funny man wave white and black flag at you. What more do you need to know?

I wish I could be there to enjoy the sweat fest but I have to go to a niece's graduation in Dallas.

Patrick, where have you been this season?  CCS has changed their schedule a little bit.  Saturday will be all day practice/trackday and then all the races are on Sunday.  They usually start with the 25 minute races before lunch and then the sprint races in the afternoon.  Anyway, hope to see you out there.

BMG was right, practice track day on Saturday with races on Sunday and vey little practice.  As far as racing schedule, I work for CCS and find out the minute I walk into the track and pick up a schedule from registration!  Last minute changes are inevitable sometimes.  I recommend to everyone to grab a schedule at the track.

I know they changed from last year to a new schedule (Sat - LPUSA/Sun -Endur. & Sprint) and they combined some classes. I was hoping to get an idea of which and when the sprint races ran.

cstem - i understand last minute changes are inevitable, God knows I saw enough of them last year, but I like to be a little better prepared then just showing up Sunday and saying... "Hmmm, maybe I'll do a little racing today" and I would think, as a professional organization, CCS could at least post the weekends schedule.... prior to the morning of the races.

Wayne - are you racing that weekend?

Matt - thanks for the info. Over the winter, my wife and I bought some land in north Scottsdale, so that ate into my racing budget for this year, so I throttled back and I'm just doing the local races and track days. I was out of town for the Feb. race. I may do Vegas in Sept... depends on the $$$, but I'll definately be out at Firebird Sat/Sun. I haven't done East in a while. Last time I was out there I started to get into the 1:03's, so I'm pretty happy about that. Just let me know what races you're entering so I can avoid those, because it looks like your getting your GSXR dialed in pretty good. I see where you were doing some 1:01's.... bastard ;D I'll look you up when I get out there. Have you heard from Simon?

So... does anybody have the PDF from the Feb Firebird race. TIA.

Normally it is posted at least a week after the prior race. This month seems to be the exception.

Patrick, unfortunately I don't think high 1:01s are going to cut it next time out, there's a kid from CA that is really speedy this year.

I completely understand the cutting back thing, I've been wrestling with that myself.

Simon high-sided himself to the moon out at Big Willow and I think he should be healed up by now . . . broke his ankle.  I believe, he's pretty much doing just AFM/WSMC now . . . there's no way you'll see him in Phoenix again.  I think he broke that Ducati everytime he came down here.  I'm hoping he'll show up when CCS SW makes it out to Streets again.

1:03s will get you pretty high up the charts . . . that's a big improvement from last year right.

Anyway, I'll catch up with you in a few weeks.

Patrick, I plan on being there, it will be my first race weekend on the new SV.  So I am a backmarker in the making.  whooohooo

Don't have to worry about the kids. Nick, Scott and I will all most likely not be there so all of you have fun!
