OuterXtremes Track Day - May 8th - Talladega Gran

OuterXtremes (www.OuterXtremes.com) is hosting a track day for Saturday, May 8th 2004. Talladega Gran Prix Raceway (Talladega, Alabama 1.5 hours from Atlanta via Hwy 20) www.tgprace.com This trackday is designed for the first timer as well as the seasoned racer looking to stay sharp between Barber and VIR.

Trackday details are as follows: We will be running 3 groups; beginner, intermediate, and racers. This will ensure that everyone gets more than enough track time. The track gates will open at 7am with the track going green flag at 8am (CST). We will run until 4:50pm with an hour break at lunch. The cost is $125. We will be switching directions after lunch. Experienced riders will be available to assist all first timers with getting acquainted with the track.

Requirements:
*** Full leathers (1 or 2 piece), boots, full faced helmet, and gloves

Bike tech starts at 7am and all bikes must have a tech sticker on their bike prior to being allowed on the track. Bike prep work includes removal of antifreeze (water or water wetter allowed), safety wired oil drain plug & filter, taped signals, headlight, & tail light, removal of tags & mirrors.

Due to Track Insurance no children or pets allowed.

Also being offered Metzler M1 Sportec tires 120/70 & 180/55 $220 a set plus tax, mounting/balancing prior to trackday available for $35 (on bike, just ride up before Sat); XT Lap timers $175 plus tax; and we're still working on a picture deal (TBA later).

Please contact us in advance should you desire/require trackside tire services. If needed, we can order any equipment (including tires) which you may need for the trackday. If you need assistance trailering your bike, or have extra space on your truck or trailer, let us know. We will try and assist as much as possible in making necessary arrangements.
