This weekend @ RA will be my first race weekend.  I am doing LCR on Friday and am hoping to race on Saturday and Sunday.  Will I be able to get a # plate and #'s @ the track?  I am riding a superstock prepped SV650, what classes can I ride with?

Hey Johnny, if you need I should have some stick on plates and some extra numbers.  I'm on an SV also.  Some classes you can do, not positive tho,are LtWt supersport, LtWt superbike, LtWt Gp, GTL, Supertwins, Thunderbike, probably a few others, someone will chime in with more info.  ;D

I am also curious about the numbers.  I have painted yellow plates but I was assuming that there was a trackside vendor with numbers there.  Am I making a bad assumption?

I'll see you in class Johnny.  I am also going to be on an SV.

There's usually a vendor there with numbers, but they can be sold out of some numbers on an especially busy weekend. Don't sweat it though, You can make 3s & 6s out of eights, 1s out of 7s and so forth. You can even make numbers out of black duct tape. Have fun @ the school!

Do or do not, there is no "try".

You may want to hedge your bet a bit by bringing a roll of yellow duct tape, and a roll of black duct tape.  If all else fails you can simply make a yellow background out of the one, and cut your numbers out of the other.  (I've heard this has been done before ;-))
