Got taken out in the first FUSA race in five, but got back on without a front brake.  Put a new lever on, but the brake really didn't do anything.  So, I had to finish FUSA Formula Sportbike and Superbike with the rear brake, downshifting...and I just didn't take that last shift...

I'm exhausted.

According to unofficial timing, Rossi set a best lap of 59.9secs, about three seconds slower than the lap record.

Rossi had a couple of spins, but his speed was impressive considering his total lack of experience.

Track record at Fiorano is 55.999, set by Schumacher early this year, so that's 4 seconds, not 3. Schumacher has run 59's there on a wet/drying track. Rossi went well, but not quite as good as reported.
