Long story made as short as possible. Sunday morning the grid sheets were posted. About an hour later, I was told by a buddy some changes were made so I went and checked my grids spots. Sure enough, race 16 was turned into a 2 wave race. No big deal. My first race arrives, race 9, and I am gridded in row 8, all one wave. The grid workers checked us, and then stepped to the side of the grid area. I watched the grid worker standing at about the 3rd row, step clear and hold up his clip board. Written on the side I could read was "2nd wave". I noticed that a couple other riders were looking at each other and then back at the clip board. Green flag waves and most of us in the back kind of paused.
In the big scheme of things, it wasn't a big issue and it wasn't going to change my results. I had a mechanical DNF, but none-the-less, can it be passed onto the appropriate people to check the clipboards?
Like I said, it didn't ruin my race or weekend, but I felt it was worth mentioning.

Your complaint is noted. And even though the grid marshal had moved to the side, he should have made sure his clip board could not be seen by anyone on that grid! I will make sure that it does not happen again. I appreciate your concern.
