Is the CCS ever going to be able to post lap times????   Post them at the track or on the web site.
Would be nice to see where you stand against the rest of the field.

CCS does post lap times at the track in the Midwest area..

Online I really doubt it, though it would be nice for those of us that like to crunch numbers. (Hey CCS are you listening.. could you please, with sugar on top?)

I don't see why they couldn't...They already have them in electronic format, all they have to do is make them into a pdf file or whatever.  Hell they can just make them all into one big file and we can sift through the races.

wera posts their times up on www.mylaps.com

lrrs posts them up at www.lrrsracing.com

its great to see who is talking shit and who is honest when it comes to lap times. far too many people have an unrealistic built in lap timer. ;)

Guys, CCS doesn't regularly look for info on this board.  Tell Kevin Elliott.  He's appreciate the input.

I'd agree, I'd like FUSA qualifying times up on the site.

Tell Jim Clifford I said, "Hi!"

They where keeping track of lap times at Heartland Park, you just had to go to the "booth" to get them.  Usually they post them by the grid positions though.

WERA just started using the transponders this year.  At VIR they posted all the practice lap times and all the race lap times FAST.  Then you can use the www.mylaps.com and compare your times to others, see the times overall ect..  It is a pretty neat system they have.  Even tells ya how far behind you were time wise lap by lap of any rider you wish to put in.

Dave is right, talk to Kevin about lap times.  He is busy be patient.  I will mention this to him next time I see him which may be Streets of Willow next weekend.  Something Brian Long does is take pictures of posted lap and final standing sheets with his digital camera for use later.

Easy now kiddies...  One step at a time...

To get points posted accurately and within a few days is a MAJOR accomplishment...  Let them work on that for a few years first.
