Barber and MAM and I promise I won't crash into you again.

No need to go looking for rivals, Christian.  Your skill and the performance of your machine will closely match you to somebody.  Then you'll both try hard to beat the other, and your rivalry will move you to the front.
That's what I really missed last year.  My bike blew up so often that it became my rival.  I never really had any good races with anybody all season.  With my limited funds this year, I probably won't be riding well enoug or often enough to get in there and mix it up.  I almost wish I could jut take a yellow plate and let CCS keep my points and give my trophies to whoever finishes behind me.  This expert stuff is tough.  You need money and commitment to be competitive as an amateur, but it gets way harder with white plates!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

You got that right about way harder with white plates, I felt like I was new to the sport again. Got real nervous and everything. I learned if you make the smallest mistake, you Will lose spots, Not only that but most of the front runners have built motors. On a good note, the dicing was great! Real smooth and you can trust everyone around you. My biggest rival is my laptimer and the track.

Credit where credit is due...

They have well tuned motors and suspensions, so their drive is harder, faster.

My GSXR600 in 2001 was stock except for a pipe, shock and fork work, but it was still good enough to do 13's at Blackhawk.

How do I put that?  Set up, set up, set up.
